WBMDFC
I have been working with the West Bengal Minorities’ Development & Finance Corporation (WBMDFC), a Government of West Bengal Corporation, since 2021 as a Field Supervisor in Tufanganj Subdivision, Cooch Behar District. WBMDFC works for the minority communities through financial assistance, scholarships, and welfare schemes. My role is to implement and monitor WBMDFC schemes at the field level, assist beneficiaries, verify applications and documents, conduct field inspections, and coordinate with beneficiaries, banks, and concerned offices.
Previous Work
Worked at Asirvad Microfinance Ltd. from 2019 to 2021 as a Field Development Officer. Started my career at the Alipurduar Branch, later transferred to the Cooch Behar Branch, and was last posted at the Darjeeling Branch. My role involved field operations, customer handling, loan processing, group formation, collection, and monitoring of microfinance activities.
Education
I initially pursued a BCA at Siliguri Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2017 but could not complete the programme due to family and personal circumstances. In 2018, I enrolled in a B.A. in English through IGNOU and successfully completed the degree in 2021. In 2024, I enrolled in an MBA with dual specializations in HR and Finance at Sikkim Manipal University and am currently in my final semester. After completing my MBA, I plan to pursue a PhD.
